Diane Norris |

Diane has been painting and drawing since the age of four. Both her Grandmother and Mother encouraged her in the creative arts. After attending University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) for fine art, Diane attended Bessemer State Technical College obtaining a degree in Commercial Art. Her career has leaded her to computer graphic design with the University of Alabama – Geology Department. In 1998 she started painting in pastels. She has been juried into both state and international shows and her accomplishments include Best of Show and Purchase award. As she continues to paint in pastels she is also experimenting with acrylics used as watercolors. Diane is presently accepting commission work and focusing on wildlife, pets, outdoor scenes, flowers and fruit. Her enjoyment comes from painting God’s creations for others to enjoy.
